Day 1 – Sunday - BUENOS AIRES

Day 2 – Monday - BUENOS AIRES

During this tour we will visit Avenida de Mayo that runs into the Plaza De Mayo, which is surrounded by the Casa Rosada (Government
House), the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo (first City Hall, built during Spanish rule). At the other end of Avenida de Mayo you
find the Congress building. Then we continue to San Telmo, the best kept historical neighborhood and eldest district of Buenos Aires. Here
we have time to stroll around Plaza Dorrego, where you can find many antique shops. On Sundays Plaza Dorrego is a "MUST", as an
antique market takes place there. If you till now did not find the right souvenir, here for sure you will get it.
In the fresh shadow of huge trees and also in the streets where Tango couples are dancing. Next stop is La Boca, a most colorful area. At
the famous street Caminito people will meet painters offering their Tango pictures. Passing Colon Theatre, one of the world's best known
opera houses and the cultural pride of the "porteños" (as the inhabitants of Buenos Aires are commonly called), we continue to Palermo
with its beautiful parks, the City Zoo, Botanical Garden, Argentine Horse Track and National Polo Fields. Palermo is beautiful for its
artificial lakes. At the end of the tour we will visit Recoleta area, one of the city's glamorous spots. Recoleta is the quarter of the rich of
Buenos Aires, even though it once hosted a slaughterhouse. Here you will find the Municipal Cultural Center, elegant boutiques and
excellent restaurants, surrounded by centennial trees.

Day 4 –Wednesday - BUENOS AIRES - IGUASSU FALLS

Half-Day Brazilian Falls tour (SIB)
Walking along the 1.500 mts long paths following cascades and then walking along the catwalk that leads very close to the bottom of the
Devil's Throat, the guests will enjoy magnificent views. There is also an elevator for those wishing to view and shoot the falls from the
top. (including entrance fee to the National Park). Remainder of the afternoon at leisure

Day 6 – Friday - IGUASSU FALLS - RIO DE JANEIRO

Transfer from hotel to Foz do Iguaçú airport with guide assistance to take flight to Rio de Janeiro. Flight to Rio de Janeiro.

Day 7 – Saturday - RIO DE JANEIRO
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
Half-Day Tour to Corcovado & Beaches (SIB)
Leaving the hotel and proceeding as far as Cosme Velho Station to board a cog-train for the ride through Tijuca Forest up Corcovado
Mountain. The train ride takes 20 minutes and is a wonderful opportunity for a closer look at the forest's lush tropical vegetation and to
enjoy scenic landscapes of the beaches and city. Disembarking at the top of Corcovado and then proceeding up the steps that lead to the
top lookout where the towering statue of Christ the Redeemer stands, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
After appreciating the breathtaking view unfolding below, passengers will descend by train. The tour proceeds passing by Rio's worldfamous
beaches. Return to the hotel. Remainder of the afternoon at leisure.

The tour through Santiago begins at the civic center with a visit to the renovated Palacio de La Moneda, Chilean government house and
through the Plaza de Armas (town square) the heart of the capital where you will find the Santiago Cathedral, the Museum of National
History and Correo Central (Central Post Office), the previous seat of the government. The route continues on Paseos Ahumada and
Huerfanos the main roads of the city's commercial activities and the national historical monuments such as Club de La Union, the Main
Headquarters of the University of Chile, the National Library, and Cerro Santa Lucia the site where Pedro de Valdivia founded Santiago on
February 12, 1541. This tour continues towards the neighborhood of Barrio Bellavista known for its vast variety of restaurants, outdoor
cafes, theatres and handicraft fairs and on to Cerro San Cristobal a green park in the capital with a lookout point offering a panoramic
view of Santiago. The visit ends at the Parque Arauco mall where tourists may choose to stay and purchase items or extend their visit.

Excursion by combining archaeology and art with a visit to the city. Here we will enjoy the Lima Cathedral, built in the palace of
Wiracocha and the Koricancha, now the Temple of Santo Domingo and built on the old Temple of the Sun. From there, we will travel to
the outskirts of Cusco to visit four bordering ruins: Sacsayhuamán, a military fortress and astronomy observation area; Kenko, a temple
where the world and its link with men are represented; Puka Pucara, a
place that allows to control the routes and close territories of the area; and Tambomachay, an important center of cult and worship to the
water.

Day 12 – CUZCO / AGUAS CALIENTES

FD Machu Picchu (SIB)
Transfer to the train station to begin the full day tour to Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas. Departure by train to Aguas Calientes,
where we will take a bus to the archaeological area considered one of the Wonders of the World. It is known as the Citadel of Machu
Picchu. We will visit the entire archaeological area, including squares, temples, palaces, warehouses, factories, stairs and water sources.
In addition, we will see the watch tower, the superior cemetery and ritual rock, temple of the sun, Intiwatana, sacred rock, temple of the
three windows, principle temple, the doors, the sources, the springs, and the tombs. Return to Cusco by train and transfer from train
station to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
More about Machu Picchu: Located at the subtropical zone and 113 kilometers from Cusco by railroad, this Incan city was discovered by
Hiram Bingham in 1911. At a height of 2,350 meters above sea level, Machu Picchu has an annual average temperature of 11º Celsius.
The archaeological area is divided in two sections: agricultural and urban.

FD Uros – Taquile – Titicaca Lake on speed boat (Pvt)
Pick up at your hotel at 7:30 A.M. transfer to the pier to board the motorboat.
After 2 hours travelling, it will arrive at the Uros island, on the Titikaka lake. Fishermen and hunters
inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The residents of the Uros use the cattail, a type of rush,
which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. The dense roots
that the plants develop support the island. The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely
humid because of the surrounding water. At present they speak Quechua and Aymara. Then we will
visit the Taquile island, including lunch in the co-operative restaurant, there is also a co-operative
shop on the plaza that sells exceptional woollen goods which are not cheap but of very fine quality.
Taquile Island is famous for its craft production, particularly for its beautiful textiles. There are two
